KATY PERRY LOST HER MIND, AND CLOTHES.. KEEP THEM OFF GIRL

Mad Catz shows off its CTRLi, a controller built for iOS gamers (hands-on)

There is now a Mad Catz controller for your iOS 7 device, including the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. Dubbed the CTRLi -- because of the iOS compatibility -- the controller is a basic Xbox 360-style controller, complete with A, B, X, and Y buttons.

On the back are L1 and R1 triggers and L2 and R2 shoulder bumpers. And though they weren't built into the prototype controller I played with, Mad Catz told me to expect both Start and Back buttons on the final design.

As controllers go, I've held better. Though well-weighted and comfortably shaped, the triggers buttons in particular don't deliver the same level of resistance I've come to expect from console controllers. The face buttons as well felt really plastic-like when pressed and didn't give me the type of feedback I'm used to as a console gamer.

Still, it feels like a fine basic controller and quite honestly is one of your only choices if you're an iOS gamer.

Look for it in April for about $80.
