Former Mayor Ed Koch's furniture, art and letters going to NYC auction

Former Mayor Ed Koch's (KAHCH'-es) furniture, books and letters are going on the auction block in New York City.

Furniture, decorations and art from Koch's Greenwich (GREN'-ich) Village apartment are being offered Monday. The three-term mayor's letters and books will go on sale Nov. 25.
Koch died in February at the age of 88.
Among Monday's highlights is a thank-you letter from Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
The session also includes Koch's burgundy leather club chair and ottoman, estimated to bring $300.
Other items include his dining room table and chairs designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The pre-sale estimate is $6,000.
Next Monday, the highlights include a framed copy of a 1948 letter from Harry Truman recognizing the newly established state of Israel.
