Get ready for even more espionage and sexual experimentation: Showtime has renewed Homeland for a fourth season and Masters of Sex for a second one. Both shows will air their 12-episode seasons in 2014. Homeland has continued to be a success both critically and among fans, and is currently the network's most popular show... after Dexter came to a terrible conclusion in September.Masters of Sex, meanwhile, premiered to favorable reviews, and its popularity has grown over the course of the season.
Showtime President David Nevins announced the decision, saying "Homeland continues to prove its strength for Showtime, and is one of television’s most exciting, provocative and widely-discussed shows. It has grown its audience significantly in each of its three seasons. The critical and audience reaction to Masters of Sex since its great launch has been incredibly gratifying."
Viewers can continue to attempt to keep up with Homeland's endless twists Sunday's at 9 PM, and follow Masters and Johnson on their quest to understand human sexuality on Masters of Sex, which airs right after at 10 PM.
