Consider the silence broken. For the first time since announcing the cancellation of the Jonas Brothers' fall tour on Oct. 9, band members Joe and Nick Jonas took to Twitter to address their fans.
"Bear with us," Nick, 21,tweeted to his 7.5 million followers on Tuesday, Oct. 22.

"Please hold while we get our s--t together," Joe, 24, shared on his own account a half hour later.
The short, somewhat cryptic messages are the first from Joe, Nick, or older brother Kevin, 25, in weeks. Earlier this month, the trio's official Jonas Brothers account disappeared from Twitter, leading fans to an error page where their profile used to be.

"Sorry, that page doesn't exist!" a note on the micro-blogging site reads. "Thanks for noticing -- we're going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon."

Whether the band itself will be "back to normal" in the future remains to be seen. As previously reported, the group was scheduled to kick off their tour on Oct. 11 in Pennsylvania -- but two days before the start date, they announced that the shows would not, in fact, go on.
"There is a deep rift within the band," their spokesman told at the time. "There was a big disagreement over their music direction."
