Maybe Justin Bieber should look into having some quiet nights in. In the latest saga from his eventful life, the 19-year-old "Boyfriend" singer has gotten into yet another shady incident at a nightclub.
According to the Toronto Star, Bieber was at Toronto's Uniun Nightclub at 3 a.m. on Saturday when a fan approached him for a photo. “The fan was just a small little guy,” the venue's operation manager said. “He wasn’t being aggressive.”
But that's not how TMZ saw it. The gossip website reported the man "charged at" the Biebs, grabbed his shirt, and tried to tackle him. Either way, the Canadian pop star's security detail proceeded to shove the pic seeker to the ground, with Bieber reportedly losing a $40,000 gold chain in the scuffle.
Though there was reportedly no police investigation into the matter, this is not the first time Bieber has been involved in an incident at a nightclub.
Last month, the musician's entourage was being investigated for a fight that left one clubgoer in the hospital. At the South Pointe nightclub in Southampton, New York, on Aug. 4, Bieber was confronted by a male friend of a girl who had tried to talk with the singer. In response, Bieber reportedly went ballistic, ripping off his shirt and yelling at him.
After leaving the club, the duo fought again in the parking lot, but this time the alleged instigator was reportedly knocked to the ground by the Biebs' pals.
And in April, ABC reported the singer was banned from a Vienna nightclub after his bodyguards are said to have gone on a rampage destroying fans' cameras and cell phones.
Then there was the well-publicized incident at the Cirque du Soir club in London in March, where the Biebs claimed he had his "worst birthday." He abruptly left the club with his entourage after a confrontation with security amid rumours he brought an underage friend (Jaden Smith, 14) to the venue.
“I love how the club wanted to give the press another reason to why we didn’t stay at their weak ass club so they wouldn’t look bad for me walking in and right back out,” Bieber wrote on Instagram.
No doubt Cirque du Soir is thanking its lucky stars for getting off easily — at least the Biebs did not have his way with the club's mop bucket. Perhaps this would be a good time for the Stratford, Ont., native to take a break from the late-night partying.
