It's no news that Emma Watson is a flawless specimen of womanhood — of personhood, really. But even so, it's a joy each and every time she is recognized as such. The latest accolades come from British GQ, which just named our favorite Muggle-born witch/wallflower/Hollywood Hills thief as their next Woman of the Year.
Watson tweeted the gorgeous cover, on which she wears a backless lace gown and minimal makeup, Tuesday evening. That same night, Watson bore her midriff in a cream bralette with voluminous sleeves by Balenciaga at the magazine's Men of the Year Awards. This may not be our favorite look of Watson's (I mean, there are so many fabulous ones to choose from) but we're coveting her dewey cheeks — I'm googling cream blushes as we speak — and ability to pull off a look with so much skin just the same.
Of the event — during which awards were handed out to such dapper dudes as Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens, Pharrell, Tom Ford, and Michael Douglas — Watson tweeted, "Mud throwing, general hilarity and great company at the awards tonight. Very proud to be part of your female contingency. Thank you!"
Keep up the good work, Emma, and props to British GQ for being able to recognize greatness.
