WATCH DJ KHALED MAKE AN OUTRAGEOUS PROPOSAL TO NICKI MINAJ

An unconventional artist is deserving of an unconventional proposal, which is exactly how DJ Khaled felt about Nicki Minaj. On Thursday, the "C'est la vie" artist proposed marriage to Minaj in an MTV video, expressing his undying affection for her. Besides the fact that they aren't even dating, the icing on the cake (pun intended) is at the end of the video he whips out an engagement ring rumored to be worth half a million dollars. That's a lot of love.

Khaled is dropping his new album Suffering From Success this Fall on September 24th. Considering the outrageous language of the proposal ("We got the same symptoms, we're both suffering from success."), this is most likely an elaborate publicity stunt. Unfortunately, Minaj has yet to comment on this romantic gesture. We're hoping it's because she wants to pick out her wedding dress before she accepts. Maybe she'll respond with a new song?
