LEA MICHELE BREAKS HER SILENCE ON CORY MONTEITH'S DEATH

Following the discovery of Glee star Cory Monteith's tragic death, all eyes turned to his costar and real-life girlfriend, Lea Michele. Now, nearly two weeks after Michele asked for privacy while she grieved for Monteith with his family, she has broken her silence on the topic. 

Michele took to Twitter on Monday to express her gratitude for the continued support she's recieved along with a gorgeous photo of the two of them. "Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart," she wrote.

Michele has shown a remarkable amount of strength through this incredibly difficult time. Glee creator Ryan Murphy even credits the 26-year-old actress with deciding the fate of the series. "Ultimately, the person who made the decision was Lea, who felt that the best thing for the cast and crew was to be together and to get back to work and be together every day and talk about our memories of him," he told E! Online of returning to work following the tragedy.
